Katharine White is an Emeritus Life and Business Coach, Clinician Scientist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified Nurse Coach, author, and speaker who is a founding member of Coachville. She has started and owned four businesses.

 

Her major former career roles include: Hospital VP of Nursing, SVP of Quality, Owner/Operator Lighthouse Performance Strategies, Inc. (business coaching/strategic planning), and Founder/NP Psychiatric-Therapist and Prescriber at Brain In Play International, Inc.

 

Her business-coach experience includes coaching CEOs/Directors/Managers at more than 100 companies ranging from large to small (Solopreneurs/Owners), covering specialties such as Construction, Accounting, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Wealth-Mgt, Research, and Quality/Risk Management to name a few. Mrs. White served 5 years as the inaugural Chair of Brown University’s Women in Business Advisory Board, was a Mentor in Babson College Women's MBA Program, and was a board director at XPX, (Exit Planning Exchange) where she chaired the Content and Curriculum Committee.

 

She is a longtime Life Coach, facilitated by her work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Therapist, combined with her training at Coach University and certification at the International Coach Federation.

 

A past medical-nursing school faculty and healthcare consultant, Katharine co-developed Brain Performance Enhancement℠ and its related neuro-epigenetic brain wellness coaching and medical treatment programs (optimizing brain performance, preventing and treating brain diseases/injuries, and improving mild cognitive impairment-often associated with early dementia). Katharine co-authored the book “Winning the War Against Concussion in Youth Sports” – a leading foray introducing epigenetic body and brain scientific wellness.

 

She is a serial entrepreneur, having just launched Lighthouse Performance Coaching, Inc., a coaching and consulting firm with a dual focus on career/leadership effectiveness and life challenge/transition management.

 

Additionally, she has taught in the graduate school faculties of Northeastern University and the University of Rhode Island. She is a former member of the American Academy of Neurology and has authored multiple articles and delivered formal presentations on business leadership, strategic planning, talent management, personal transformation, and the value of Life and Business coaching. She is a graduate of the University Of Rhode Island College of Nursing, Boston University Graduate Nursing School, and Coach University.

 

Katharine is a widower, now remarried to her former business partner William White (Brain In Play International), with whom she parented five children in a blended family.
